Milk with cinnamon and lemon
INGREDIENTS:
2 pt of semi-skimmed milk
Peel of 1 lemon
1 cinnamon stick
We peel the lemon to get a strip being careful not to take the whites of the same as it is bitter. The peel should be slightly transparent (cause no white in it)
Add the skin and cinnamon sticks in milk and put it to heat, stirring until it boils. Check the milk all the time to avoid it overflows the pan and immediately reduce heat. In this way the cinnamon and lemon provide their scent to the liquid. Remove from fire and keep the mixture stirring for ten minutes.
Once the mix is cold, take away the cinnamon stick and the lemon peel, put in jar and set at the refrigerator until very cold. Serve at any time like refresh, kids love it !
