Coconut flan
A classic dessert that is also very easy to make.
INGREDIENTS (4 people):
- 400 g (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
- 400gr (14 oz) of milk (preferably semi-skimmed so that the taste does not interfere).
- 100 g (3.5 oz) of grated coconut
- 3 eggs
- Butter
In a bowl, beat the eggs, add the sweetened condensed milk and the milk. Mix well and add the grated coconut.
We butter a typical flan mold and pour the previous preparation into it. Let's cook it in a bain-marie.
We preheat the oven to 180 degrees (356 F) and place a container with water so that when placing the flan inside it, it does not overflow. We let the water heat up and once this happens we place the flan mold inside.
Let it cook for about 40 minutes or until when you stick a toothpick in, it comes out completely dry. You can open the oven without problems, the flan does not stop being made because of that.
Let cool to room temperature and unmold. It is taken to the fridge and when it is cold it is served.
A dessert that of course everyone will like.
