Snowy egg casserole


A curious way to present the eggs, easy starter or for a perfect breakfast. To prepare them you need clay pots or ramekins.

INGREDIENTS (1 person):

  • 1 egg
  • 2 butter spoons
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce fried
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Lemon

We separate the white from the yolk, reserving the second.

We beat the white to the point of snow with a little salt and a few drops of lemon juice. It should be very thick so that when you turn the bowl where we have beaten it, it does not come off.

We butter a clay pot or a ramekin and introduce the whipped egg white, smoothing the surface. In the center we open a small hole and in it we place the yolk that we had reserved, making sure that it does not break.

Season the white and the yolk. On the latter we place the tablespoon of tomato sauce. Sprinkle the cheese on the surface of the casserole and place some butter shavings.

We preheat the oven to 180 degrees (356 F) and introduce the casserole for 12 minutes. They are served fresh from the oven, inside the casserole. 

You will surely repeat the recipe many times, it's easy and yummy.
